Full and Partial Dentures
Magnolia Smiles Family Dentistry offers full and partial dentures at all four of our offices in Magee, Purvis, Waynesboro and Wiggins, Mississippi. A denture visit starts with an exam and X-rays, and follow-up visits fine-tune the fit so you can eat and talk comfortably.
Full or partial: which one you need
If you’ve lost all the teeth on your top or bottom, a full denture replaces the whole row. If you still have some healthy teeth, a partial denture fills the gaps and clips to the teeth you have, which helps keep them from drifting.
How getting dentures works
Exam and X-rays to check your gums, bone and any teeth that remain.
Any extractions or gum treatment you need first.
Impressions, so the lab can make dentures shaped to your mouth.
A fitting, then follow-up visits to adjust any spots that rub.
Paying for dentures
Call your office with your insurance information, and the front desk will check your benefits. Sunbit splits the cost into monthly payments for up to 72 months with no hard credit check, and all four offices accept CareCredit.

Denture FAQs
What’s the difference between full and partial dentures?
A full denture replaces every tooth on the top or bottom. A partial denture fills the gaps when you still have some healthy natural teeth, and it clips to those teeth to stay in place.
How long does it take to get used to new dentures?
Most people need a few weeks to get comfortable eating and talking. Start with soft foods cut into small pieces, and come back for an adjustment if anything rubs or feels loose.
Do dentures need to be replaced?
Yes, eventually. Your gums and jawbone change shape over time, so dentures can loosen. Bring them to your regular checkups so your dentist can tell you when they need relining or replacing.
